HONOLULU PRIDE™ 2019

Celebrate the Rainbow!
The 2019 Honolulu Pride™ Parade & Festival will be held Saturday, October 19.

Honolulu Pride is Hawaii’s largest and most colorful festival for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer and allied communities. It’s a celebration of diversity and inclusiveness, and everyone is welcome. We hope you’ll join us!

Honolulu Pride 2019: “50th State Commemorates 50th Anniversary of Stonewall Uprising.”

We’re excited to announce that the 2019 Honolulu Pride Parade will feature a contingent commemorating the beginning of the modern LGBTQ rights movement — the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York.

We’ll be welcoming very special guests Stacy Lentz and Kurt Kelly, LGBTQ rights activists and Stonewall Inn co-owners who are helping preserve the historic building. Joining Stacy and Kurt will be legendary bartender Tree, who was there the night of the uprising, and remains a symbol of strength, resilience, and inspiration.

Members of Hawaii’s LGBTQIA community with ties to New York are invited to march with the Stonewall parade group. Just join the contingent at Magic Island by 10:30am on Saturday, October 19 to be part of this historic gathering. For more information, contact Willie Sabel at willie@hawaiilgbtlegacy.com

We’re thrilled to announce that hit songwriter and “outsider pop” artist Allie X will be one of our headliners at the 2019 Honolulu Pride Festival.
With a large global cult following, Allie X has sold out shows internationally. She co-wrote Troye Sivan’s debut and sophomore albums in addition to releasing her own critically acclaimed albums COLLXTION II and the recent SUPER SUNSET. Allie’s social advocacy and collaborations with Sivan and drag superstar Violet Chachki have earned her a dedicated LGBTQ+ fanbase and regular features in gay publications. Get ready to welcome Allie X to 2019 Honolulu Pride!
