Call it a “relig-ish” experience. Raised as a Southern Baptist in Lake County, Florida, self-described “Glamour Toad” #GingerMinj Ginger Minj Official Fan Page got tired of all the fire and brimstone and set off in search of her own answers — a wild and wonderful journey that led her to honors such as being named “Miss Gay United States At Large 2013,” “Miss National Comedy Queen 2012” and a finalist spot on season 7 of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
In her holiday show GINGER’S SUPER SPECTACULAR (LOW BUDGET) HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA,, Minj will be “preaching to the people” while serving up enough over-the-top, rhinestone-studded humor to have you laughing into the new year. It sets some of the most outrageous, insane and TRUE stories of Ginger’s Christmas’ past to some of the worlds favorite holiday classics. Laugh, cry and clutch your pearls as you find out why her family puts the fun in dysfunction!
Tora Himan has been entertaining audiences since 2012, where she started at a Drag Broadway night at a very popular Drag Diner in Orlando, Florida with her Momma, Ginger Minj. She then flourished at Sleuths Mystery Dinner Shows and kept growing and growing, not in size.
Tora Himan now appears on the Award Winning YOUTUBE channel – DRAG QUEEN NETWORK, and can be seen at various stage shows all over the country and many gay bars, like every other drag queen. Tora is currently your Miss Rose Dynasty 2019, and is looking for help our community become stronger together with the Rose Dynasty Foundation.
The show will feature vocal support for Miss Ginger and Tora Himan by the members of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Honolulu.
Ginger’s Super Spectacular (Low Budget) Holiday Extravaganza is presented by Scarlet Honolulu as a fundraiser for Gay Men’s Chorus of Honolulu & the Historic Hawaii Theatre Center.
