45th Annual Honolulu Intertribal Pow Wow
Oct 5 @ 8:30 am – 7:30 pm

https://www.facebook.com/Hipowwow/

The Honolulu Intertribal Powwow is an annual cultural event which is held in the Fall & supported by the Oahu Intertribal Council, members & community.

We are a small group of Native Americans/Alaskan Natives living on the island of Oahu who volunteer their time and energy to promote Native American culture within our community.

We are fortunate to have a local Native American drum group called 808NDNZ who support us in all of our events, gatherings, and presentations.

The powwow community in Honolulu has been around since the early ’70’s and has experienced many leadership and administrative changes. Our group, however, has persevered and remained steadfast in their continued commitment to share Native cultural values, educate and teach others about Native ways, and to have cultural exchanges with other tribal entities and groups.

MISSION:
To share, promote, and educate the community about Native American traditions, culture, and heritage through cultural exchanges, community events, educational presentations, and community outreach.
