September LGBT Caucus Meeting
Join us Saturday, Sept 21 at 10:00 am at DPH HQ for our monthly meeting. After the meeting we will be cleaning the DPH HQ as a fundraiser for the Caucus.
The complete agenda will be sent out next week but we will be covering Honolulu Pride and voting on the name change for the Caucus.
If you have not already done so please fill out the survey about changing the name of the LGBT Caucus. To help ensure that everyone can have a say we have created this survey. Please encourage your friends to fill it out as well.

It’s time for September’s Pau Hana Friday!
Come out with Pride at Work Hawai`i for the Third Friday of the Month.
Join us for pupu’s, fun people, and a brief update on PAWHI activities & the upcoming SCOTUS Case regarding federal discrimination at work for the LGBTQIA community and then discuss Honolulu Pride & Legislative priorities for 2020.
We will talk about the upcoming Pride@Work HI elections.

Pride@Work – Hawai’i is a official chapter of Pride At Work which is a national nonprofit organization that represents LGBTQ union members and their allies. We are an officially recognized constituency group of the AFL-CIO (American Federation of Labor & Congress of Industrial Organizations) that organizes mutual support between the organized Labor Movement and the LGBTQ Community to further social and economic justice.
Follow our Social Stuff:Residential Youth Services and Empowerment (RYSE), a 501(c)(3) operates an access center where Hawai‘i’s street youth are assessed and referred to appropriate support services.
Youth in the target range of 18-24 have access to a safe temporary living space specifically designed to address their unique needs.
The access center offers coordinated programs and services to build a path towards reintegration into mainstream society.

2019 Season Opening Party for the Hawaii Gay Kickball League — Honolulu’s newest gay sports organization.

The Hawaii Gay Flag Football League (HIGFFL) is holding a Beer Bust fundraiser at Bacchus Waikiki on Sunday, September 22, from 1-6PM.
Join us for an afternoon of booze, music, food and fun as we raise money for our two travel teams (The Honolulu Riptide 1 and 2) as they will soon head off to compete in the annual Gay Bowl.
This year the Gay Bowl is in NYC from October 10-13 (next year, WE HOST!).
The Beer Bust will feature spectacular raffle prizes, Jell·O shots and burgers and pizzas you’ve come to know and love.
This group loves to party and puts the FUN in FUNDRAISING.

It has been an amazing year in television and the historic Hawaii Theatre is proud to host our first annual Emmys Viewing party.
